Driven by Masami Hirosaka in the 1991 Detroit IFMAR Worlds
In 1991, Masami Hirosaka drove this RC10 buggy to win an IFMAR World Championship for Team Associated. These are photos of the very RC10 Masami drove in Detroit, Michigan in this historic race.
One of the first things I noticed was the excessive use of custom machined parts. Many of the basic designs ended up in later versions of the RC10, which is cool. It makes me wonder what the heck those guys who say it’s all the driver are thinking. This buggy looks like something we would see today! And this was created in 1991?
